Red
ribbon award
In August 2006, at the
International AIDS conference in
Toronto, Canada, TNP+ was
awarded the Red Ribbon award in
recognition of its work on
access to care and treatment for
PLHA. This award was sponsored
by the governments of Ireland,
Norway, Canada, and Austria and
by UNAIDS and UNDP and was
presented by Princess Mette-
Marit of Norway. Twenty five
finalists spanning 5 categories
were selected from over 600
communities worldwide. See the
